Research shows that resilience is a teachable mindset and skillset that we all need, but very few of us are taught. Most of us are naturally resilient; however, without the proper skills, every adversity sets us back and takes a huge toll on our body, mind, relationships, and spirit. 

 

The resilience mindset and skillset are the secret ingredient to help you handle whatever comes your way and Bounce Back Better® than before.

 

The Bounce Back Better program includes 16 sessions.
You can choose any number of sessions out of the 16.

Resilience skills help us feel happier, enjoy greater life, work, and relationship satisfaction, be more creative, positive, and engaged, and
experience lower levels of burnout, less anxiety, and less absences.

1. GROWTH MINDSET

Research shows that growth mindset is what separates people who succeed & thrive to those who languish.  Learn a simple technique to keep you on the path of learning & resilience to combat judgment, criticism, self-doubt, frustration & worry.

2. EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE

Research shows that emotional intelligence (EQ) can be a more powerful predictor of success than IQ, education level, or other things that we might typically expect to find.  The ability to recognize and redirect emotions that are not serving us, is rarely taught to us, yet it’s an essential skillset for success. It is what separates people who are reactive and feel out of control of their emotions from those who achieve a sense of personal mastery.  Join us to uncover what emotions are, how they operate, and how to get more of the ones that you want and work with the emotions that you don’t want so that you are in control.

3. STRENGTH AND FLEXIBILITY

Everyone knows that physical activity is important to our health and well-being; however, few people realize why that is and how simple it can be to be a healthier, more vibrant you.  Join us to learn about your mind-body connection and simple ways to improve your vitality.  Learn about how your body is wired and get inspired to get moving.

4. MEANING AND PURPOSE

Did you know that having a sense of purpose in life is correlated with happiness and well-being? However, the process of figuring out your purpose is usually met with frustration and angst. Join us for a step-by-step approach to uncovering your purpose and how to fill your life with meaning. Learn to infuse meaning into your goals for a greater sense of fulfillment. Discover your strengths and claim your values. Leave this workshop with clarity on the unique way you impact the world, and how to maximize that vision for greater resilience.

5. THE ABCDEFG OF PERSONAL MASTERY (TM)

Have you ever noticed how you can be your own worst critic? You’re not alone. Science shows that criticism undermines performance. Learn to redirect debilitating thoughts, build your confidence & take action.

 

6. THOUGHTS AND FEELINGS 

Did you know that the average life span of an emotion to work through the body is 90 seconds? What keeps you stressing, ruminating or worrying for days and weeks? Your thoughts. Learn to master your thoughts so that you don’t get stuck in your emotions.  Uncover how to navigate stressful events and learn practical skills for identifying the triggers in your life and how to reframe them as opportunities.  These will help you stay solution focused rather than problem focused.

7. BREATHING TO REGULATE THOUGHTS AND FEELINGS

What if you had a tool that can instantly create calm all over your body, or help you feel energized when you’re feeling down?  You do!  It’s your breath.  Learn to master your body by navigating your breath to instantaneously shift how you feel.

 

8. THE SCIENCE OF THE HIVE - YOU BELONG
Did you know that out of all the insects on the planet humans are genetically closest to the honey bee?  This is why scientists call humans “hive creatures.”  We’re wired to work with others towards a cause that’s greater than ourselves. When we have this, we thrive. When we don’t, we buzz around as busy bees but we feel stressed, burnt out, and disconnected. Learn about the science of the hive and how to create a deep sense of belonging to your tribe. Learn techniques to deepen your connection to your community and improve your well-being through the ancient principle that, “No man is an island.”

9. WORKING WITH WORRY - DOUBTING YOUR DOUBTS

Research shows that anxiety disorders affect 18.1% of adults in the U.S. (approximately 40 million adults). We evolved to worry so that we would solve problems and increase our likelihood of survival. However, in today’s world, our ability to worry debilitates us. Worry impairs our rational brain functions, makes us lose sleep, miss work, and waste energy. The good news is that worry is quite simple to work with when you have the tools.  Join us to uncover the science of worry. Learn to doubt your doubts, to feel empowered, and to face your fears.

10. ENERGY: BECOMING YOUR OWN CEO

According to Harvard Business Review the secret to success is not time management; it’s energy management. Learn the science of mental energy and how to harness it.  Learn strategies for getting from depleted to repleted, and how to gain mastery over your focus.  Use this knowledge to become your own CEO (Chief Energy Officer) so that you’re operating effectively and efficiently throughout your days.

11. NUTRITION - FEEDING RESILIENCE

Your body is your vehicle and food is your fuel. While feeding yourself has gotten complicated with today’s hyper-informed culture of diet trends, it doesn’t have to be so hard. Rather than getting more food advice, join us in getting to the core of your core: how your gut works. Understanding how your body works will empower you to naturally make better decisions for your body.  You’ll learn to use nutrition to keep your energy high and your immune system high, so you could be as resilient physically as you are mentally.

 

12. PRONOIA - BENEVOLENT UNIVERSE

In a world full of stress and worry, it’s hard to get peace of mind. What if there were another way? What if you could shift your perspective in a way that would make you feel calmer, stronger and in greater control of your life?  In this workshop, learn how to leverage the brain’s evolutionary tendencies in your favor.  Learn to build some of the core psychological factors that support people in being resilient and persevering in the face of setbacks: trust, hope and optimism. Learn what recent research has identified as the core belief systems that correlate with well-being and how to put the science into practice.

13. MIND OVER CHATTER

You’ve heard of mind over matter, however, the key to personal mastery is actually mind over chatter! Learn simplified approaches for redirecting your thoughts in real-time. Instead of getting stuck in thoughts of judgment, worry, or regret, you will learn to choose thoughts that feel better, are solution oriented and help you show up in the world the way you want to.

14. EMOTIONAL ALCHEMY

Learn to feel the way you want to feel, when you want to feel it!  This class is about emotional mastery. How do you get from worry to excitement? Calm instead of frustration? Or turn sadness into determination?  Learn to alchemize emotion and shift how you feel in real-time.

15. MIND-BODY FITNESS

How much mastery do you have over your body?  When your muscles ache or your neck is sore, do you know why? Better yet, do you know how to fix it?  Most people live in their body like a new  house that they don't know very well, which makes it hard for them to notice when something is not right, or to fix what needs to be fixed.  Join us to learn basic body practices for personal mastery. Learn to shift your mental and emotional state using your body. Discover practical movements for countering the impact of modern-day stress, and keep your body flexible, balanced and vital.  Increase your confidence in how to care for yourself with these skills that drive resilience, personal mastery and flourishing.

16. INTUITION & MIRACLES

You make thousands of decisions every day.  This never-ending stream of demands has the capacity to debilitate you, cause stress, and inhibit resilience.  Learn the real-time resilience skill of navigating day-to-day stress by sharpening your decision-making skills and intuition.  In addition to managing what comes at you, you’ll also learn how to manifest your goals and desires.  Learn simple strategies for greater personal mastery that will enable you to be at peace with your past, optimistic about your future and feel present and strong in the moment.
